Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) would undertake ILP verification drive of non-locals within Chakhesang inhabitated areas from November 16 to 23. The registration camp office will be set up at Phek Town from 16 to 18, Pfutsero town from 19 to 21 and Chozuba Town from 22 to 23. Union has informed all the non-locals residing within Chakhesang jurisdiction renew their ILP verification card and get registered from the nearest registration camp office with 2 copies of passport and a xerox copy of inner line permit.
CSU president, Mutsivoyi Kotso and general secretary, Esther Rhakho stated that surprise checking will be followed and any non-locals who failed to register within the stipulated time will resort to any course of action. CSU also informed all its sub-units to publicize all the non-locals residing within the units village/town so as to avoid any sort of unions’ course of action to be resorted.
Meanwhile, CSU has dispatched statistical questionnaire to all sub-units in view of the 2nd edition of the statistical record of CSU for the Year 2009, following which it will be publish in the annual magazine 2008-2010. The last date of submission would be November 30 and those sub-units yet to receive the questionnaire and those to submit it have been directed to contact any of the executive. Union informed that any units failing to bear the responsibility in due course of time would not be entertained after the publication.
