Eastern Bible College Dimapur on Friday organized a gospel concert in aid of cross culture ministry with parliamentary secretary for geology and mining, irrigation, flood control and border affairs, Y. Patton as chief guest.
Patton said that musical concerts were the perfect art in bringing marvelous joy to everyone. Stating that as a Christian community, we can proclaim the gospel in many ways and expressed delight at the students choosing to announce the gospel through music and dancing.
Patton also asserted that the best way of announcing the gospel was our daily lives and advised the students to think and act carefully in any situation of life.
The parliamentary secretary also donated a sum of Rs.50, 000 towards the ministry.
The main highlight of the programme was performances from gospel singers from Mizoram, Pensy and Maggie. There were also performances from the band ‘Unhindered’.
Cross culture ministry is a part of the college’s practical programme where students will be going out of the state to study other cultures and religion to enhance their knowledge and further their practical knowledge.
