NPBCA training for Chaplains underway

The ongoing training programme for Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) Chaplains at Chumukedima will be concluded on November 16 at NPBCA mission centre. Organised by traning and development department, the main purpose of the training is to update and refresh the Chaplains in order to look after the spiritual and social affairs of the ‘Law enforcement Community.’ Training and development promoter NPBCA Khobou Metha stated that core subjects covered at the training would include counseling skills to assist the law enforcement family, substance abuse, responding to a crisis situation, officers and jawans injury or death, stress management, awareness on HIV and AIDS and intercultural relationship to co-workers and Christian living (character).
