The 49th annual session of the Tsungiki Students’ Union (TSU) was held at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur on the theme, “Confluence.”
Chief guest of the occasion, SE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Er. Echongbemo Lotha urged the gathering to introspect for the sake of unity, upliftment and welfare of Tsungiki village. Dwelling on the effects and impending dangers of global warming, he urged the Tsungiki people to plant more trees and contribute in their own ways in the current scenario of climate changes.
Guest of honour, , Headmistress Pilgrim School Dimapur, Kaini Kikon who spoke on the theme, said the word “Confluence” should not simply mean the coming together of people but asserted that there should be a purpose followed by constructive conclusions. She challenged the students to strive to excel in their endeavours. Students, elders, parents and well wishers attended the annual session.
