Office closure for festive season NBCC: Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) general secretary, Rev. Dr. L. Anjo Keikung has informed that NBCC office would remain closed from December 16 to January 10 on account of Christmas and New year holiday. TSUD: Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has informed that its office would remain closed from December 16 to January 15. Executive members have been requested to join office on re-opening day on January 16. NPBCA: Nagaland Police Baptist Church Association (NPBCA) has informed that its office would remain closed from December 15 to January 4 on account of Christmas and New Year celebrations. Association has wished all Nagaland Police personnel a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Annual sessions AASU: Aghunaqa Area Students’ Union (AASU) has convened a meeting on December 19 at the residence of union banker, Tohoi village. All executive members and advisors of the union have been requested to attend the meeting. RSU: Rachu Students’ Union (RSU) Viswema will hold its 31st annual session on December 22 at Rachumi Panchayat Hall. All members have been requested to attend the session. PSU: The 65th annual session of Pfutseromi Students’ Union (PSU) would be held on December 23 at union office complex with SP Kohima, Zekotso Mero as chief guest. Union has requested all student members, former executive members, teachers, public leaders, village elders and parents to attend the session. Union president, Wenyi Kapfo has further informed all students who secured first three position to submit one photo copy of marksheet to any PSU executive on or before December 21 and contact 9862874321/9615103054 for further detail. LSU: The 61st annual session of Lakhuti Students Union (LSU) will be held on December 29 and 30 at Lakhuti local ground. Former minister and member general council, person with multiple disabilities, ministry of social justice- cum- empowerment N. Thomas Ngullie and Agriculture SDO (Store) Jacob Yanthan will attend the session as chief guest and guest of honour. LLYU: Lazami Lazakito Youth Union (LLYU) will hold its 47th annual session from December 18-20 with Class I contractor, Hovito Vibeilietuo Kets and PWD (R&B) Dimapur senior DA, Peter Swu as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. All students have been requested to attend the session. TVSU annual day DIMAPUR: Tuophema Village Students’ Union (TVSU) would conduct its annual day-cum-career guidance programme on December 18 at village council hall, Tuophema with PRO to Chief Minister Nagaland, Neibalie Rio as chief guest. All student members, parents, elders, VIPs and leaders have been requested to attend the programme. Dimapur Mangmetong Senso Telongjem DIMAPUR: Dimapur Mangmetong Senso Telongjem (DMST) has convened its 38th general meeting on December 19, 10 am. at the residence of its treasurer, W. L. Chuba Pongen. All members of the union have been informed to attend the meeting. Mesulumi Youth Day DIMAPUR: Mesulumi Youth Day cum cultural competition would be held on December 29 at Local Ground Mesulumi village with V. Lasu, member NPCC and regional chairman (NE) Confederation of Community Based Organisation of India as chief guest. The organization has invited the outsiders and well wishers to attend the 32nd session and also informed unit chairmen to take charge of their own respective unit for the scheduled competition. Church awareness prog conducted DIMAPUR: All Churches of Kiphire town as per directive order initiated an awareness programme on December 10 starting 6am to 4pm. According to Pramtsula Yimchunger, general secretary, Mother’s Apex Association Kiphire (MAAK), the programme included special topics like prayers and distributing pamphlets respectively. CASU first general session DIMAPUR: The first general session of Chare Area Students’ Union (CASU) was held on December 9 to 11 at Chare Town with Y.P Chillio, former president ENSF as the chief guest. In a press note issued by Thrikyuse Sangtam, general secretary CASU stated that session also elected new office bearers that included Dongchem as president, Thrikyuse as general secretary, Semsa as executive chairman and Imlimar as treasurer. Further, the union has expressed gratitude to all the donors and well wishers who contributed towards the success of the session. Fellowship service at Padumpukhuri DIMAPUR: Dimapur Khandi Christian Fellowship service will be held on December 20, 2 pm at Padumpukhuri Baptist Church. Auto rickshaw recovered DIMAPUR: The office of the highway command NSCN/GPRN Naga Army recovered an auto rickshaw bearing registration number NL-01-F-2841. NSCN/GPRN has requested the rightful owner to claim the auto rickshaw with proper document at its office or to call at 9856319197 and 9856100566 within threes days of publication of this press note.
