Lions Club Kohima visits leprosy patients

Members of Lions Club Kohima (LCK) led by its President Dr Sashimeren Aier paid a visit to leprosy patients at Naga Bazaar, Kohima on Sunday. The Living Accommodation House for the leprosy people was constructed way back in 1983 by Lions Club Kohima. According to NEPS, members of Lions Club Kohima have been visiting leprosy patients on occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day and on the eve of Christmas Celebrations where thay present gifts, cash and other kinds as a token of love and affection to them. The visiting team presented the patients a Christmas cake and a sum of money. Lions Club Kohima President Dr Aier an occasion like Christmas brings more understanding and real love amongst all section of people. He reminded as to how Jesus lived with lepers and added that Christmas season gives renewed hopes and vigor. Later, the team also visited Ring Well, which was constructed by Lions Club Kohima, at Keizheikei.
