YTC mourns demise of its former president

: The Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) has mourned the demise of its former president P.Y. Sunglo, who passed away on December 25 at his residence Tuensang. The Yimchunger Tribal Council in a condolence message stated that late P.Y.Sunglo served in various capacities in various organization, he was the founder of TMPO now ENPO and served as vice president, president of YAA, YTC and Chairman Tuensang Town Council. The Yimchunger Tribal Council described late P.Y.Sunglo, as a man of ‘warrior’, who always cared and had concern for the cause of the people. YTC stated that late Sunglo’s work for the people would be remembered by all. YTC expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the departed soul to rest in peace. Meanwhile, the Yimchunger Tribal Council has also stated that, funeral service of late P.Y.Sunglo, has initiated by YTC and all the business establishment were closed down till the funeral service was over. The Yimchunger Tribal Council in this regard has expressed gratitude to Chang Khulie Setshang, (CKS) United Sangtam Likhum Bumji, (USLB) Khiamnuingan Tribal Council (KTC) and Phom People Council (PPC) for initiating in the programme. The Yimchunger Tribal Council has also thanked Kejong Chang MLA and Advisor VGO, DBs, GBs Nagaland, Rhakila Ex candidate and Elem Chang Ex candidate for their initiatives towards conducting the funeral service programme. The YTC has also expressed gratitude to all the people of Tuensang for their cooperation during the time of sorrow and expressed hope that such kind of cooperation would be continued in the days to come.
