JD (U) appeals for peace

President of Janata Dal (United) Nagaland Mhonjan Lotha called upon leaders of Nagaland to ensure peace which was prerequisite for alternate development. He said earlier the party delegation meet the party leaders where Sharad Yadav assured to support in expediting Naga talks for a peaceful solution. Lotha also urged all political parties at national level to support in expediting the protracted Naga issue for acceptable solution. While attending the National level Press conference held at party headquarter 7, Jantar Mantar New Delhi on December 24, Lotha conveyed a very prosperous new year 2010 to the people of Nagaland, The state JD (U) president also urged the state government to frame up strategic plan for 50 years statehood development package where all recognized village should get basic amenities within stipulated time like road connectivity, health care, water supply, electricity and so on in rural areas through vision 2020 of DoNER.
