Kohima College scholarship submission DIMAPUR: Kohima College BA first year students who had submitted scholarship forms have been requested to submit HSLC marksheet and admit card before December 15 at the college office. Kohima College principal has informed that scholarship forms of students failing to submit the required documents would be rejected. SSU annual session DIMAPUR: Sapotimi Students’ Union (SSU) has convened its 56th annual session from December 17 to 19 at Sapotimi village with Khunito Achumi, SDO PWD (R&B) and Kihoshe Assumi, pastor SBC as chief guest and speaker respectively. The union has requested all its bonafied students’ unions former executives and well wishers to attend the session and to cooperate for the success of the programme. NGBF jubilee activities DIMAPUR: Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has informed all the office bearers and planning committee members to reach Kohima on or before December 12 for smooth and proper functioning of jubilee activities. All the citizens and members have also been requested to pray for the success of jubilee celebration. BVC to inaugurate sub-centre DIMAPUR: Bade Village Council (BVC) has informed that inaugural programme of Sub-Centre, Bade Dimapur would be held on December 11, 11am at Sub-Centre Bade. Kevise Nakro, general secretary BVC has informed that Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, minister for Medical and Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland would be the chief guest. TASU plea to appoint CDPO DIMAPUR: Tizit Area Students’ Union (TASU) has appealed to state high authorities to immediately appoint Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) of ICDS Tizit. The union in a release stated that the area was without a CDPO for six months after the transfer of the previous officer and said the new project was facing difficulty without its officer and urged the authorities to look into the matter at the earliest. PBVC to change house numbers DIMAPUR: Purana Bazar Village Council (PBVC) in a meeting held on November 6 and November 19 unanimously resolved to change the GB House numbers as previous house numbers were randomly allotted even for small pan shops and commercial establishments. PBVC members and GBs have appealed to bear with the denizens and public to bear with inconvenience caused. YSU general meeting DIMAPUR: The general meeting of Yonchucho Students’ Union (YSU) and village council in general has been convened on December 22 at the conference hall, Yonchucho. Achan Yanthan, president YSU has requested all the responsible and executive members to attend the meeting. Further, informed that any executive member failing to attend without the consent of the president or general secretary would be imposed with penalty as per the resolution. KBYF prayer meeting DIMAPUR: The monthly prayer meeting of Kohima Baptist Youth Fellowship (KBYF) has been convened on December 5 at 7am at Tangkhul Baptist Church. Ketoulhouno, information secretary KBYF has also informed that the pre-Christmas programme of the fellowship would be held on the same day at 3pm at Union Baptist Church, Kohima. Further all the responsible youths in Kohima have been requested to attend both the programmes. MSUDI general meet DIMAPUR: Molungyimsen Students’ Union Dimapur Institution (MSUDI), has convened a general meeting on December 5 from 9am at the residence of N. Joseph Lemtur, treasurer. Among P Aier, president MSUDI has requested all the students to attend the meeting. SVC clarifies on boundary wall DIMAPUR: Sodzülhou Village Council (SVC) amending their previous resolution adopted at the assembly meeting on October 20, has clarified that the council has resolved to construct the boundary wall of the present Panchayat hall the area of which is 60 ft X60 ft (3600 sq.ft). CABES past pupils’ meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of past pupils association of Chukitong Area Baptist English School (CABES) presently known as St Paul’s School Chukitong) has been convened at the school premises at 9 am on December 8. A statement by CABES past pupils’ association seasonal convenor Y. Vungthungo Kikon requested all past pupils of CABES (St Paul) to attend the meeting. Kohima DPDB programme DIMAPUR: Year end programme of DPDB Kohima- cum pre Christmas will be held on December 15 at Kisama. The first part of the programme shall commence from 11 a.m onwards for deliberating agenda points after which pre-Christmas programme shall follow with Rev. Malsawma Vanchhawng, pastor, City Church, Kohima as the speaker. All members of the board have been informed to attend the programme.
