Cultural performance marks Hornbill festival day 5

Day five of the Hornbill festival witnessed cultural dances performed by various Naga tribes on the theme ‘heralding culture’. Songs and dances were performed by Hebo cultural society doing the ‘Kukha kiti’ wrestling an indigenous kicking game, Shanen Dancing Club from Sangdak village performing a Chang Kundang Lem dance, Village Cultural Club Panso (A) villahe performing the Nokle, demonstration of inter village feud of the Khiamniungan tribe, Lanhnga Lunso Cultural Clun from Kuthur village doing Mehdumnio, Yimchunger folk dance, Njauna Cultural Club doinf Taube Lim, a Zeliang folk dance, Naropi Cultural Society, Angangba Village demonstrating a Sangtam Naga engagement, Unger Cultural Club presenting Tenüm Kaza Ao hornbill dance, Bonglong Kuki cultural troupe performing the Saipi Khupsuh dance, Mima Cultural Troupe doing the Weho, paddy field Angami song, Pfutseromi Cultural Troupe performing the Melophelu chakhesang folk song, etc.
