Phek DPDB meet on all round development

The monthly meeting of Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held on December 10 at its Conference Hall under the Chairmanship of Minister for Health & Family Welfare & Chairman District Planning & Development Board Phek Kuzholuzo Nienu. The house agreed to forward the proposal to Commissioner, Nagaland for creation of PA to DC outpost at Dzulhami village under Sekruzu circle. Applications for Zonal/Regional Taxi permits were approved and decided to forward all 10 applications to government for further action. The proposal for opening of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) was deliberated and decided to write to neighbouring villages whether any of the village could donate land free of cost for further follow up action. Phek Deputy Commissioner, Mikha Lomi in the meeting requested all the head of offices located in the main roads to give special attention and paint the office buildings with white colour in view of the forthcoming road show. MLA & Adviser Science & Technology, Art and Culture, New & Renewable Energy Deo Nukhu who also spoke in the meeting stressed about the road communication problem. The Chairman also emphasized that the roads leading to Phek should be improved in view of the coming Road Show and sought the co-operation from all.
