SCAN: Sumi Catholic Association Nagaland (SCAN) has congratulated Rev Fr Paul Inashe for being ordained on January 14 at Lazami Village. He was the first Capuchain priest ordained in North east India. SCAN also expressed gratitude to his parents for sacrificing his son as sacrifice to god for the faithful , especially in the Sumi area,. A note issued by SCAN president Asephu James Swu stated that with this ordination the faith of the catholic community will be strengthened and prayed to Almighty God to bless the newly ordained priest and Lazami village. LWSK: Lazami Welfare Society Kohima has also congratulated Rev Paul Inashe for being ordained and his father Inaho Achumi and mother Ghoteli fpor offering their beloved son as sacrifice to God. The society president Marcus Kasho also congratulated the Capuchian priest father Mathias, parish priest Lazami for his untiring work towards the church. He also expressed sincere gratitude to most Rev Lumon Dominic Arts Bishop of Imphal and most Rev Fr Carolus Neisalhou Vicar general of Koima Diocese for coming to Lazami village and ordaining Rev FR Paul Inashe and bestowing their blessing on the newly appointed priest and other delegates coming from different places for the ordination. KYS: Kigwema Youth Society have acknowledged and appreciated AKS Segar Deputy GOC HQ %6 Infanatry division Zakhama station for gracing and honouring the 70 th annual wrestling meet as chief guest and supporting the society financially. LST: Longjang Senso Telongjem have congratulated Limatemjen, lecturer in zoology Kohima Science college for being awarded a Ph D in Zoology by Gauhati University for his thesis titled ‘Sytematics and biology of the snow trout Shizothorax Richardsonnii from the water bodies of Nagaland under the Guidance or Dr SC Dey. KDCC: Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) has appreciated K.V. Pusa and Chingwang Konyak, former president NPCC and former CLP leader Nagaland Legislative Assembly for their magnanimous support to the decision of Sonia Gandhi, president AICC in appointing I. Imkong and Tokheho Yepthomi as the president NPCC and CLP leader Nagaland Legislative Assembly respectively. KDCC also extended support to the new leadership and expressed hope that with a renewed vision, the new incumbent would carry forward the dreams and expectations of the party men and women and endeavour to deliver a rightful place for INC Party in the state with a collective goal and wished success in their endeavour.
