NSCB awards cooperatives for outstanding performance

The 40th annual general meeting of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB) was held on January 15, attended by number of delegates from affiliated agricultural societies from the 11 districts of the state apart from government officials and sister cooperative organizations. Awards to various branches of the bank with the highest recovery performance and highest deposit performance in the form of citation and token cash were awarded, while 8 multipurpose cooperative societies from eight districts were also awarded for outstanding performance during the period 1.4.2008 to 31 .3. 2009. Additional chief secretary and financed commissioner Toshi Aier, IAS presided over the meeting along with the chairman of NSCB. The welcome address was delivered by the vice chairman of the bank Bendangnukshi Longkumer while the vote of thanks was delivered by the managing director BK Thadani Election was also conducted by the registrar of cooperative societies Imtila Jamir following were also elected for board directors against vacant posts for the districts: Rajuselie Lhousa –Kohima; LN Ngullie – Wokha; Tsanio Sangtam –Kiphire; Talio Longkumer – Kiphire; L Tongang Konyak – Mon.
