In a statement, the NSF president Mutsikhoyo Yhobu, regretted that despite a memorandum was submitted by NSF and ENSF, demanding re-advertisement of the vacant post as per the guideline of the ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions, department of personnel and training, the NU authorities conducted interviews. As per the guideline of the ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions, department of personnel and training Nagaland state has the opportunity to avail 45% reservation in Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ category of posts in any office, it stated. Underscoring that aspiration of Naga educated youths cannot be siphoned off by any vested interest individual, the federation said it would never accept the out come of the interview and would continue to uphold its principal stand until their demand was fulfilled. The NSF also cautioned to take “own course of action” if NU authorities failed to fulfill its demand. It said vice chancellor and registrar would be held “solely responsible” if any unwarranted situations arise out of it.
