Issue of invitation, car passes for R-Day
DIMAPUR:All heads of departments, district heads of offices, defence, recipients of national awards, awardees, heads of educational institutions, churches, clubs and non-governmental organizations have been requested to collect invitation cards and car pass from the office of deputy commissioner, Kohima on January 23 between 11 am and 1 pm, and on January 25 during office hours. An official bulletin informed that officers or staff may collect invitation card and car pass on behalf of head of departments and head of offices with due authorization letter.
7th NE expo in Delhi
DIMAPUR: National Small Industries Corporation LTd, a government of India enterprise will be organising 7th North East Expo from February 28 to March 8 at NISC exhibition ground, Okhla, New Delhi. Directorate of industries and commerce has informed entrepreneurs interested to participate in the Expo to submit application with items to be displayed to project officer (Trg and Exh) T. Mayang Jamir before January 31. Selected entrepreneurs would be provided stall and transportation of exhibits free of cost.
Statistical report on higher education
DIMAPUR: Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has informed all secular private colleges and government permitted theological colleges to collect free copies of the statistical report on higher education from the office of DHE during office hours. In a press note issued by director Higher Education AM Toshi Jamir has also informed that suggestions for improvement of the handbook would be solicited through letters.
Bhandari social work for Republic Day
DIMAPUR: In view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebration in Bhandari, a mass social work has been organised in Bhandari town on January 23. All departmental officials have been informed to clean their respective office surroundings in Bhandari.

DIMAPUR: General meeting of Sangtam community, Purana Bazar Dimapur has been convened on January 23, 10 am at the residence of Pitongse Sangtam, Chariman SCPBD. All members of the community have been informed to attend the meeting.
