Expressing resentment over government’s order, with regard to posting of NCS officer as managing director of NHHDC Ltd. Dimapur, the Nagaland Industries and Commerce Gazetted Officers’ Association (NICGOA) today said it has resolved to resort to agitation if government failed to “deliver justice” within seven days with effect from January 20. In a press statement issued Thursday, the NICGOA president Er. S. Temsulong Jamir said that the move has infringed the right and denied the promotional avenues for officers of industries and commerce department. According to Jamir, NICGOA members had met Wednesday and resolved that the post of MD, NHHDC would be manned by the senior officers from the department as before.
