WYO to foster peace in Ward-17

An apex youth organization with the nomenclature “Ward-17 youth organization” was formed in Kohima on November 25 with members representing the colony youth organization falling under Ward-17, Kohima town. The Ward-17 Youth Organization (WYO) was formed with an objective to foster ‘Peace, Unity and Progress’ in the Ward-17, and also to create a common platform to address various grievances being faced by the people residing the more than 5 colonies under the ward. The Ward-17 Youth Organization in a consultation meeting elected the following person by consensus to serve the first term as Ward-17 Youth Organization office bearers with Notsol Neikha as president, Vithuse Temi as vice president, Neingusalie Lüho as general secretary, Rampauli Poireng as assistant general secretary, Alex Krume as finance secretary, Rendemo Shitio as information & publicity secretary, Zaremo Kikon as games & sports secretary, Mhasiseno Chüsü as education & statistical secretary, Astele as women co-ordinator, Asano as women co-ordinator, Vipiho Rhetso as youth advisor. Besides, the president of all the colony youth organisations falling under Ward-17 would be an ex-officio executive member of Ward-17 Youth Organization .
