NRGEA projects inaugurated in Diphupar ‘B’

A waiting shed, culvert and protection wall constructed under NRGEA 2009-2010 by Diphupar ‘B’ village development authority at Diphupar ‘B’ village was officially inaugurated on Wednesday by Project Director, DRDA Dimapur Hilo Semp who graced the function as chief guest. Addressing the villager leaders, the project director lauded the village authority for the successful completion of the work and stated that if funds were utilized properly the village would be well developed. He was of the view that it was the moral responsibility of all to co-operate for all round development of the village. He also urged the villagers to be united and not allow anti-socials to take place in the village. Pointing out that development was a process; he said the villagers must focus on development of the village by utilizing funds faithfully. Any village misusing the development fund is always behind other villages, he added. Rev. N. Pomo, Evangelist, Nagaland Missionary Movement pronounced the dedication prayer. Delivering welcome address, Kakiho Achumi, Chairman, Diphupar ‘B’ village council also highlighted the difficulties faced by the village to the chief guest. Sashi Longkumer, Secretary, VDB Diphupar ‘B’ chaired the function while L. P. Therie, head GB, Diphupar ‘B’ proposed the vote of thanks.
