Kma night bazaar revoked to ease traffic Kohima: With a view to mitigate the traffic congestion Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) executive officer Zeneituo Yano has revoked the Night Bazaar at “Y” Junction near Old MLA Hostel, Kohima with immediate effect. Wokha PIOs/HODs meeting on RTI DIMAPUR: A review meeting for implementation of Right to Information (RTI) Act in Wokha district has been convened on February 4 at DC’s conference hall, Wokha. The meeting would be chaired by State Chief Information Commissioner, IAS (Retd) Talitemjen Ao. All Public Information Officers (PIOs)/Assistant Public Information Officers (APIOs)/Heads of Department (HoDs) of Wokha district have been requested to attend the meeting. Dimapur District Tea Planters’ Association DIMAPUR: The Dimapur District Tea Planters’ Association has convened its meeting on February 3, 2 p.m. at the banker’s residence. All members of the association have been informed to attend the meeting. Aichisaghemi Community Dimapur DIMAPUR: Aichisaghemi Community Dimapur (ACD) has convened a general meeting on January 30 at the residence of its banker, Purana Bazar at 10am. All members have been requested to attend the meeting. Model Colony Council DIMAPUR: Model Colony Council (MCC) has convened a general meeting on January 30 at the residence of its banker, GB Niuto Awomi at 10am. All colony members have been requested to attend the meeting. Chishilimi Welfare Society DIMAPUR: Chishilimi Welfare Society (CWS) has convened a meeting on January 30 at the residence of Geology & Mining director, Er. Kiviho Chishi, Supply Colony Dimapur at 9am. Members have been requested to attend the meeting. Peren CMCF results declared DIMAPUR: All CMCF candidates under Peren district have been informed that the result of CMCF 2009-10 has been declared and displayed at Deputy Commissioner Office and District Planning Machinery Office. Candidates have been informed to check the result list on any working day. Chishilimi Students’ Union DIMAPUR: Chishilimi Students’ Union (CSU) has convened a meeting in regard to coming golden jubilee celebration on January 30 at 9am at the residence of Kiviho Chishi, director of Geology and Mining, Dimapur. CSU has requested all members of planning board to attend the meeting. Artang ward apologizes DIMAPUR: Artang Ward, Mokokchung has extended apology for the silent procession organised on January 21 against the deputy commissioner, Mokokchung in connection with boundary issue. Terming the procession as a “mistake”, Artang ward committee secretary Limaaküm and Chairman Yashikaba, Mokokchung in a press statement said the issue has been withdrawn. KBAAA conference DIMAPUR: Kuki Baptist Association Athibung Area (KBAAA) will hold its annual conference on February 6 and 7 at Inbung, Peren district with Rev. Minles and evangelist Lalboy as main speakers. Verification of weights and measures DIMAPUR: Office of assistant controller, legal metrology & consumer protection Phek, has informed all traders that annual verification and stamping of all weighing and measuring instruments used or intended to be used in transaction for trade or commerce within Phek District will start with immediate effect. Inspector of Legal metrology and Consumer Protection, Phek notified that failure to comply with the notice would lead to prosecution; seizure etc, under Act 1975, (inf) Act 1985 and Rules 2002. SCA leadership meet held KOHIMA: The 4th annual leadership meet of Sumi Catholic Church was held from January 22-24 at Phisami Village under Seyochung parish, under the theme “You must shine among the man”. The resource persons were Rev. Fr. James, parish priest, Seyochung and Rev.Fr. Augustine, assistant parish priest, Agunato. All catechists, women leaders, youth leaders and parish representatives from all over Nagaland attended the meet. P. Khel new team KOHIMA: A new team of office bearers for Pfuchatsumia Khel (P. Khel) Council, Kohima Village for the tenure 2010 -2013 was announced on Sunday during the 56th P. Khel day. The office bearer include Meguo Mechülho, chairman, Meselhoulie Rame, vice chairman, Kelhousetuo Rutsa, secretary, Motuo Sote, joint secretary, Medongulie Rutsa, treasurer and Neilazolie Keyho, judicial secretary.
