Homage to Indian freedom fighters DIMAPUR: As a mark of respect in memory of those who gave their lives in the struggle for India’s freedom, Nagaland Home Commissioner Mhathung Kithan has directed all HoDs, officers and staff of Nagaland Civil Secretariat to observe two minutes’ silence on January 30, 11 a.m in their respective working places. Nagaland Bar Association meeting DIMAPUR: An emergency general body meeting of Nagaland Bar Association (NBA) has been convened on February 5 ,1pm at DBA building, Dimapur. T. Suohu, secretary NBA has requested all members to attend the meeting. NCSU Dimapur meet DIMAPUR: Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU), Dimapur district has convened an emergency meeting on January 30 at 11am at its union conference hall, PWD Complex. Benjamin Chishi, press secretary NCSU Dimapur has requested all the office bearers, executive members and action committee members to attend the meeting. Gaicham Ngai festival DIMAPUR: The Rongmei Meipui Prayer Ministry Nagaland (RMPMN) would be celebrating ‘Gaicham Ngai’ festival on February 2 to 3 at Samjuram, Zalukie. Dinah Gangmei, function chairman and T.R. Ganh, secretary RMPMN has requested the Rongmei Meipui from all the Churches to attend the festival. Sumi community widows meeting DIMAPUR: Akimbo Society and Akivi Society has requested all widows from Sumi community to attend a meeting convened on February 1 at 11am at Chekiye village, near Little Star School, Dimapur.
