UKK: Ustomi Students” Union (UKK) has congratulated its former vice president Kitoka Kimimi son of Henito Kimimi for being appointed to the post of junior intelligence officer through exams. The union thanked him for bringing laurels to the laurels to the students community in particular and the village in general\ and wished him all success in his future endeavours,. PSC: Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) has felicitated H. Bakup Phom for receiving the ‘Governor’s award for Fine Arts’. The students’ conference also appreciated for the achievements he had made and further wished him success in all his future endeavors. New VKRSU: V.K. Range students, elders, GBs and general public have felicitated newly elected office bearers of V. K. Range Students’ Union (VKRSU) led by Amento Chishi as president and Inaje Assumi as general secretary. They further expressed hope that the new office bearers and executive council members would execute their responsibility in contributing towards welfare of the area. TSUD: Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has felicitated Esther Rhakho on being elected as the first women president of Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) for the present tenure. In an appreciation note issued by Shelepa Rhakho, former general secretary TSUD has stated that in the history of student organization Esther was the first women president among the federating affiliated units and that she had worked in various organizations in differing capacities. Further, TSUD has wished her and the new team a grand success in all their endeavors. PSAN: Prison Service Association Nagaland (PSAN) has felicitated Medem Aier, superintendent of District Jail Mokokchung on being awarded with ‘President’s Correctional Service Medal’ for meritorious service on the occasion of Republic Day. In an appreciation note K. Hamtok, general secretary PSAN has also stated that this is the third time the prison officers from Nagaland has received such prestigious award. LGOA: Lhisemia Gazetted Officers’ Association (LGOA), Kohima has felicitated its members Ketousieü Miachieo, assistant election officer and Menuosietuo Tseikha, district project officer (LR) on receiving Governor’s Medal on the occasion of Republic Day. SSUD: Sungratsu Students’ Union Dimapur (SSUD) has congratulated AIG (Ops.) PHQ Kohima, IPS I. Toshitsungba Aier on achieving Police Medal for Meritorious Service conferred by the President of India on the occasion of Republic Day 2010. Union further wished him success in his service for the people and government. NSEFSA: Nagaland State Excise Field Staff Association (NSEFSA) has congratulated assistant inspector of Excise, P. Apong Phom and constable Tsuknung Ao under the establishment of Superintendent of Excise Dimapur on receiving District Award from Dimapur district administration on January 26. Association also expressed gratitude to the district administration for recognizing its activities in the field of detection by conferring the awards and motivating its officers and field staff to aspire for such feat in future in the interest of public service. CKLD: Changki Kaketsuri Longjem Dimapur (CKLD) has felicitated Prof. Temsula on receiving Governor’s award in recognition of her achievements and contribution in the field of literature; Retd. DGP Nagaland, J. Changkija on being awarded President’s Police Medal for distinguished service; and 11th NAP (IR) Bn. Chumukedima ABSI, Imliri on receiving Governor’s Gold Medal Award. Stating that their successes were a source of pride and inspiration for the people of Changki, the CKLD further prayed that for God to bless them in their future endeavors. CSUK: Chakhesang Students Union Kohima (CSUK) congratulated Esther Rhakho and her colleague. The newly elected office bearers for the tenure 2010-2012 a grand success ahead. The CSUK also thanked outgoing President Mutsivoyi Kotso and his colleagues for their successful achievement during their particular tenure and show the history of new hope. Meanwhile, Kikriima Students Union Kohima (KSUK) along with its apex body of Kikriima Students Union (KSU) lauded all the newly elected executives of the Chakhesang Students Union (CSU) and also felicitated Sevezo Puro as games and sports secretary. PSU: Phek Students’ Union (PSU) has extended gratitude to minister for health and family welfare, Azo Nienu, Commandant 5th NAP, Phek, Vechipa Vese, SP, Phek, Wetsope Krome for their generous contributions towards PSU participating team in 63rd general conference of Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) which coincided with golden jubilee celebration of Zhavame Students’ Union (ZSU) held at Zhavame village from January 19 to 22. Union also congratulated Esther Rhakho for being elected as the new president for the tenure 2010-2012. In a separate release, Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) has also felicitated the newly first lady president of the tribal students’ apex organization from among the federating units of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF). ORSU: Old Rephyim Students’ Union (ORSU) has felicitated Dr. Renthunglo Patton for successfully completing MBBS course. The union also felicitated Meribeni Patton, Mhayani Patton, Myingthunglo Patton and P. Abila Patton for securing first class master degree in English, History, Political Science and M.Sc respectively. ORSU further lauded them for bringing laurels to the community and wished them success in their future endeavors. PUL: Pongo Union Longleng (PUL) has felicitated Dr. Dennis H. Chingpen on being appointed to the post of medical officer under Health and Family Welfare Department through NPSC examination. The union also lauded him for bringing laurels to Pongo village and further wished him success in his future endeavors. CSU: Changdang Students Union (CSU) has felicitated of District Jail Mokokchung superintendent, Medem Aier on being awarded President’s Correctional Service Medal for meritorious service on the occasion of the 60th Republic Day. Union stated that Aier’s achievement stood as an example for others to follow and added that the village community shared the proud moment along with him. Union further conveyed its best wishes in his future endeavors. USSC: United Sangtam Students conference has appreciated all its outgoing officials for their achievements and contributions toward the students community. The conference specially thanked outgoing president Thronglise Sangtam, vice president P Setsacho and executive chairman Imlihumba Sangtam for their achievements in uplifting the Students community.The community further wished them a bright future and hoped that the new team would uphold their good deeds
