An unidentified body of a male, aged around 25, was recovered in Khuzama village, Kohima Saturday at around 8:30 pm, police said. On receiving information from locals, police rushed to the site and recovered the body. Police sources suspect the deceased may have been stoned to death with both hands and legs found tied together. Police also suspect that the murder could have taken place two or three days before the body was found as decomposition was setting in. Police said the deceased was about 5.5 feet in height, with tattoo mark on left shoulder; wearing grey sweater, jean pant, blue T-shirt with white border and black sandal. Identity of the victim, whether local or non-local, was yet to be established, Police said. The body was shifted to Khuzama police station for further probe and identification.
