Aoyimti village land owners meet
DIMAPUR: General meeting of land owners of Aoyimti village adjoining airport area has been convened on January 9, 10am at Panchayat Hall, Aoyimti. Convener Land Owners Aoyimti village A. Chuba Ao, in a press release informed that meeting would deliberate on various issues relating to “unleashing physical, financial and mental torture” on land owners by state government, for which, all affected land owners have been requested to attend the meeting.
Sitimi village council meet
DIMAPUR: Sitimi Village Council (SVC) has convened a public general meeting on January 7, 10 am at Council hall, Sitimi. Chairman SVC Kavito Aye, has requested all Sitimi villagers residing outside the village administration to attend the meeting. Chairman further informed that members failing to attend the meeting would be excommunicated from Sitimi village and that he or she cannot claim right from the village.
Ethnic fusion music competition
TUENSANG: The first ever state level ethnic fusion music competition in collaboration with Tsungkamneo of Yimchunger festival organized by Backward Area People Development Society (BAPDA) will begin on January 16 at Town hall Tuensang.
The event is co- sponsored by APC government of India, Unitex Inc Kohima, Encore music store Dimapur, Glowtech enterprises Dimapur, Print house Dimapur, Lumkhuing music studio Tuensang and Nagaland Post as Media partner.
Winners of the competition will receive cash prize of Rs 15000 as first prize, while the 1st runner up and 2nd runner up will receive Rs 10000 and 5000 respectively. Individual prizes will also be given by Unitex Inc and Encore music store Dimapur.
