State bags 3rd in Role Play Competition

Nagaland State, represented by Government High School Kubolong under Mokokchung District, bagged third position at the National Role Play Competition at the regional level at Bhubaneswar on December 22, 2009. The participants included Merennuksang, Arenkala, Rahel Rengma, Akummenla and Moakala and the team was led by Neisakho Shunyü, TRA of SCERT. The state team was awarded by the NCERT Delhi and a cash prize of Rs.300 along with merit certificates were given to each participant. The SCERT Kohima has informed that as per the instructions of the National Population Education Project NCERT New Delhi, the state level National Role Play Competition was held for class 9 of the government high school students on November 5 at St. Paul Institute of Education, Phesama. Government High School Kubolong under Mokokchung District was adjudged the best performing team, subsequently winning at the regional level.
