Capacity building programme on competitive exams and entrepreneurship was held at Town Hall, Jakhama on January 9. Altogether, 121 selected students from neighboring villages of Kigwema, Jakhama, Phesama, Pfüchama, Mima and Kitsubozou participated in the programme. The programme was initiated by MLA and advisor IT and C, Vikho-o Yhoshü as part of his vision for youngsters.
MLA & Advisor IT and C Vikho-o Yhoshü gave the introductory note on the programme and also shared his experiences in life under various capacities with central government engineering services and later into state government as managing director NSMDC. He also highlighted on competitive exams as experienced and also stressed on youth entrepreneurship. In his speech he also assured to the youth present for financial assistance in the best possible way if he or she cleared preliminary exams in any competitive exams.
The programme was chaired by Vilzo Tase followed by invocation prayer pronounced by Phelukhwe Kirha.
In the 1st session, Vikhweno Chale NCS shared on preparation for competitive exams and experiences.
The 2nd Session was taken by Vikluto John NPS and he gave a presentation on how to go about UPSC Exams and his experiences.
In the 3rd session, Neichüte Doulo, the coordinator, Entrepreneur Associates shared his experiences in business from a scratch, and inculcate in youth that any ordinary youth can survive in the world of business if one thinks he can do it. He also stressed on a very simple formula to be a successful entrepreneur, ie, to be innovative and problem solving oriented.
