‘Aai Sagi’ greetings DIMAPUR: Dimasa Youth Organization Nagaland (DYON) Dhansaripar unit has extended greetings to all Mech Kacharis on the occasion of post harvest festival ‘Aai Sagi’. Zunheboto DPDB meet on Republic Day DIMAPUR: DPDB Zunheboto meeting was held on January 12 at DC’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, T. Roy presented agenda for work distribution regarding Republic Day. The Board discussed and decided to carry out the works referring to last year’s Republic Day works distribution programme. Pongching Students’ Union golden jubilee DIMAPUR: Pongching Students Union (PSU) will be commemorating its Golden Jubilee from January 15 to 17 at Pongching village under Longleng district with MP, Lok Sabha C.M. Chang, Longleng Deputy Commissioner C.K. Nihekhu Sema as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. Co-ordination meeting in Mokokchung DIMAPUR: A co-ordination meeting of the Social Welfare department officials under Mokokchung district has been convened on January 18 at 12:30 p.m. in the office of District Welfare Officer, Mokokchung. The meeting will discuss urgent official matters related to the department. DWO Mokokchung, I. Imkong Longkumer has informed all CDPOs in the district to attend the meeting personally. Bank Colony Council meeting DIMAPUR: General meeting of Bank Colony Council (BCC) has been convened on January 23, 9 a.m at the residence of Treasurer Lanu Longchar. All residents of Bank colony have been requested to attend the meeting. NASU general meeting DIMAPUR: Nihokhu Area Students’ Union (NASU) has convened a general meeting on January 15, at the residence of its banker, Nihokhu at 9am. All executive members, advisors, unit presidents and general secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. Tsemi-Tuophe Welfare Board DIMAPUR: Tsemi-Tuophe Welfare Board (TTWB) would celebrate 25years silver jubilee of peace treaty between the people of Tseminyu and Tuophema on March 6. In this regard, organizing committee has convened a meeting on January 16 at T. Zisunyu Baptist Church at 10am. NSCB annual general meeting DIMAPUR: Nagaland State Co-operative Bank (NSCB) Ltd. will hold its annual general meeting on January 15 at its head office in Dimapur at 11am. Election for Board of Director (BoD) Kohima has also been scheduled to be held on the same day. A press release issued by present BoD Kohima, Rajuselie Lhousa requested all co-operative societies having share/membership in NSCB, particularly in Kohima district to attend the meeting. Niuland VEC chairmen meet DIMAPUR: Coordination committee meeting of Niuland village education committee chairmen has been convened on January 20, 10:30 am at the DIS office Niuland. All chairmen have been requested to attend the meeting. Noksen Citizen Union general session DIMAPUR: Noksen Citizen Union will hold its 9th general session on January 14 and 15 at Noksen village with member of Parliament Lok Sabha CM Chang as special guest. All citizen members above the age of 18 have been requested to attend the session. Eastern Naga Students’ Federation DIMAPUR: Emergency meeting of Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has been convened on January 20, 10 am at ENSF Head Office Tuensang. All former and present ENSF officials and advisors, federating unit presidents along with two officials have been requested to attend the meeting. ENSF also informed the present ENSF officials and advisors’ that a pre-review meeting will be held on January, 19, 10 am at ENSF Head Office Tuensang and requested to reach the venue latest by January 18. NUDA prayer meeting DIMAPUR: Naghutomi Union Dimapur Area (NUDA) Welfare Society has informed that there would be a prayer meeting of all Naghutomi of Dimapur area on January 16, 6am-8am at the residence of Er. Ghukhuyi Chishi, Thilixu Atosa village below AR Check Post, Full Nagarjan. Union has also informed that the prayer meeting would be followed by lunch and general meeting. Chingemei Union Dimapur informs DIMAPUR: Chingemei Union Dimapur (CUD) president S Akhang has informed all Chingmeians studying in Dimapur to submit their proper address to the union office bearers for their benefit. Wokha draft electoral rolls DIMAPUR; The additional deputy commissioner and electoral registration officer, Wokha Athel O Lotha has informed that Draft Electoral roll for Wokha town Council elections Ward No 1-15 has been prepared in pursuance of Rule 10(I) (b) of the Nagaland Municipal Election rules 2003. Public have been informed to check at the office of the electoral registration officer, Wokha Town Council and the Office of the DC Wokha. DIS Dimapur inform candidates DIMAPUR: All candidates whose applications were rejected in the last graduate and primary teachers written exams conducted on January 8 have been informed to collect their documents on or before January 22. JBKK 43rd convention KOHIMA: Japfuphiki Baptist Khriesariiii Krotho (JBKK) will hold its 43rd convention at Sakhabama from January 15 to 17 under the theme “Be strong and courageous” (Joshua 1: 9). Rev. K.Sale, Evangelist At-Large, ABCC will invoke God’s blessing at the inaugural programme at 3.45 pm on January 15. The speakers will be Rev. Moa Longchar, Pastor Baptist Mission Church, Kohima, Neino Zhotso, Youth Director, Minister Hill Baptist Church and Kehovi Tase, Youth director JBKK. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. R. Rose, consultant, Nagaland State Aids Control Society and Dietho-o Pfukha, Traffic Officer Air India.
