Mission prayer walk
DIMAPUR: The mission and evangelism department of Kyong Baptist Churches Association (KBCA) led by Rev. Dr. L.L. Kikon would be taking mission prayer walk on January 13 to 15 from Wokha to Yampha village through Wokha Bokajan road. According to a press note, the purpose of the walk is to promote justice, peace and prosperity through prayer. Further, pastors, youth leaders and mission field staff would be participating in the prayer walk and also all the Churches and individual believers have been requested to pray for the success of the programme.
SPC silver jubilee celebration
DIMAPUR: St. Peter’s Church (SPC), Atoizu Town would be celebrating its silver jubilee on January 16 and 17 at Atoizu Town under Zunheboto district under the theme, “I am the light”. Atopa Chophy, secretary SPC has informed that the un-veiling of jubilee stone and high mass would be solemnized by Rev. Fr. Anil Cap, vice-provincial from Karnataka.
ENPUD executive meeting
DIMAPUR: Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Union Dimapur (ENPUD) has convened an executive meeting on January 15 at 2pm at the residence of Chenlom Phom, former minister Puruna Bazaar. A. Mosa Konyak, general secretary ENPUD has requested all the six tribal presidents, executive members and office bearers to attend the meeting.

KOHIMA: Coinciding with the 63rd Session of Chakhesang Students’ Union, the Zhavame Students Union will be commemorating 50 years of the Union on January 21, 10:30 am with state chief minister Neiphiu Rio as Chief Guest and MLA Deo Nukhu, and Advisor NRE, S&T & Art & Culture as Guest of Honour respectively.
