The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Dimapur in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) conducted another free medical camp at Khehoyi village, some 25km from Dimapur town on Thursday.
Doctors and specialists from Dimapur and nurses from health centres treated around 300 patients, mostly villagers, suffering from various ailments.
Malaria check-up and vaccination was given on the spot and the IRCS also distributed mosquito nets and battery-powered water purifying filters.
IRCS Dimapur members and three ICRC members - Dr. Luc Frejacques (medical coordinator), Meenu Raghunathan (communication officer) and Francoi Boher (Water & Habitat engineer) - supervised the medical camp.
On Wednesday, IRCS and ICRC conducted a medical camp at Kamdi village, near Monglomukh, some 42 kms from Dimapur town on Wednesday.
