Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) will have much needed inputs from Kohima Ao Officers Telongjem (KAOT) in both planning and developmental process of the district.
The much needed helping hand extended by the KAOT was accepted by Mokokchung DPDB in its monthly meeting held at ABAM Project, Tuli on Tuesday. According to an official bulletin, taking part in the DPDB meeting for the first time, commissioner and secretary, industries and commerce and president of the KAOT, Imkonglemba said idea of extending its helping hand to DPDB members was conceived by additional chief secretary and development commissioner, Alemtemshi Jamir in an effort to give impetus to the planning and development process.
The meeting chaired by DPDB Chairman Nuklutoshi MLA was attended by engineer Saku, parliamentary secretary, housing and sericulture, Longertemjen MLA, advisor, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, I. Imkong MLA, deputy commissioner and vice Chairman DPDB Mokokchung, C.M. Tsanglao and all heads of offices.
The meeting recommended repair of approach road leading MT garage DEF Mokokchung and adjoining areas from National Highway 61 junction, establishment of SDIO office at Tuli and upgradation of Government Middle School, Tzudikong to Government High School. It also recommended registration of Naga Educational Heritage Society.
