DIMAPUR: State chief minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed condolence on the demise of K. Khetoho Assumi who passed away in Guwahati on February 10 after a prolonged illness. In a condolence message, Rio described late Khetoho as a “sincere Government servant” and “a devoted and hardworking leader” who had genuine concerns for the upliftment of the people’s welfare. The CM further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family. Meanwhile, all ranks and file of the NPF, 31 Akuluto A/C, have condoled the demise of Khetoho Assumi, former NPF candidate of 31 A/C Akuluto who passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. President, 31 A/C Akuluto NPF, Kugaho Assumi in a condolence message said that a time when there was none to take the challenge of the Party, Khetoho sacrificed and devoted himself for the cause of the NPF Party. NPF Zunheboto Divisional Unit has also expressed grief over the demise of Khetoho Assumi, former NPF 31 A/C candidate. Stating that late Khetoho’s demise has created a vacuum in the party which would be difficult to fill, the unit has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the Almighty to protect them during their hour of grief. NPCSD conducts coordination meet NPCSD: Nagaland Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (NPCSD) conducted a coordination meeting on February 6 at Congress Bhawan, Kohima with all the districts Congress Seva Dal in presence of P.A. Gurung, organizer All India Congress Seva Dal, in-charge Nagaland. The meeting was chaired by Azungla Imsong, additional lady organizer and presidential address was given by G.K. Rengma, chief organizer. P. A. Gurung while extending greetings to all the party workers for the year of jubilee, also assured a state level training camp tentatively scheduled on the last week of April. He also requested all the districts Congress Seva Dal to reorganize before the start of the training camp. Meanwhile, NPCDS has expressed gratitude to I. Imkong, president NPCC and Tokheho, leader of opposition for their support and cooperation towards the meeting. 15 Southern Angami ACCC: 15 Southern Angami ACCC has expressed grief and shock over the demise of Tsane Kintso after a brief illness at Naga Hospital Kohima. A condolence message stated that late Tsane was a dedicated and trustworthy party worker and his contribution towards party would be remembered. Working President, Vitwen Sothu on behalf of 15 Southern Angami ACCC has expressed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that departed soul rest in eternal peace. NPF 31 A/C Akuluto: NPF 31 A/C Akuluto VK unit has mourned the demise of Khetoho K Assumi, former member of NPF 31 A/C Akuluto. The unit has further extended condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. NPF Tuensang: NPF Tuensang Division youth wing has condoled the demise of Hesuka Chang of Noksen town, father of NPF youth wing secretary Somba Chang, who passed away on February 10. The youth wing prayed for the bereaved family and for the departed soul to rest in peace. AAUD: The Akuluto Area Union Dimapur (AAUD) has expressed over the demise of Khetoho Assumi ex-candidate from Akuluto constituency. The union expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members. NPF youth wing: Nagaland People’s Front (NPF) youth wing Nagaland has mourned the demise of Khetoho K Assumi, former NPF candidate 31 A/C. Describing his death as a loss to both the party as well as the state, Kakuto Shohe, president NPF youth wing Nagaland has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to grant them strength to bear the loss.
