Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) units of Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire districts, without mentioning ENSF, Saturday stated that false allegation against NCSU president Pele Khezhie was not satisfactory, and that nobody cannot take law in it hands. A statement, jointly issued by Tuensang district NSCU president C.N.Yanchu Chang, Mon NCSU general secretary H. Pujok Konyak, Longleng NCSU president O.S.Yiman Phom and Kiphire NCSU president Holise Sangtam said units’ office bearers had met February 12 to discuss the matter. Meanwhile, several site engineers strongly condemning “false allegations and propaganda” have urged ENSF to immediately withdraw its decision in the interest of the public. The site engineers including Er.Neiphre, Er.Neisa Sachu, Er. Victor Dzuvichu, Er.Neisavotuo Tseikha, Er.Rajiv Lama, Er.Atuo Solo and Er.Kekhrielelie Tseikha, in a joint press note, clarified that M/s Pele Khezhie, after satisfactory completion of 1st phase, in Phek and Tuensang, was awarded additional contract on NH-155 in the 2nd phase under Tuensang. Stating that they personally supervised the 1st phase with the department officials, the signatories said officials continuously monitored the quality and working duration. The engineers also said that ENSF without proper knowledge and verification went to the extent of defaming the “good name and reputation” of the firm.
