Rio releases Khamo’s biography ‘A Prism’

Biography of Vilelie Khamo entitled “A Prism” written by Buno Yhoshii and Imit K Jamir was released on Sunday at Mima village by state Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio. The releasing function also coincided with the 50th birth anniversary Vilelie Khamo, a well-known philanthropist. Launching the Biography, state chief minister Neiphiu Rio extended birthday greetings to Vilelie Khamo and prayed to almighty God to grant him a long life. He also urged upon younger generations to emulate Vilelie Khamo’s success to glory and also read the biography carefully as to how he could reach up to the present stage with success one after the other. Vilelie Khamo thanked the almighty God for giving him a good health to reach the 50 years and also to the authors of his biography. He also in particular thank the then PWD EE (South Division) Er. Y Chuba Ao, who gave him the first contract work in the 1983. Further he sought support, cooperation and blessing from all the well-wishers in the years ahead. Earlier the function was chaired by Kho-o Pfukha, invocation prayer by Rev. Dr. Neikedozo Paphino, president NCRC welcome address by Tsopi Livi, Chairman Mima VCC, Special numbers were presented by Mima Christian Combined choir and Mima Youth Society and vote of thanks was given by Kezhadi Leno, followed by the golden jubilee feast.
