The army organized a medical camp at Zakhama village on Sunday for the civil population of the area.
The camp was conducted by General Military Hospital, Zakhama, under the aegis of Spear Corps and local army formation.
The camp was held at Campion School ground in Zakhama village, and was inaugurated by Colonel TN Mukherjee, the Commanding Officer of General Military Hospital, Zakhama.
The aim of the camp was to provide health-care and free medical treatment for various ailments like diabetes, high blood pressure, anaemia, and other commonly occurring ailments.
Village officials of Zakhama and Principal Campion School, Zakhama graced the occasion with their presence. Approximately 200 civilians availed the facilities at the army medical camp.
