Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) has asked Nagaland University to revoke all appointments made without following the code of conduct and called for free and fair competitive examinations for selection of candidates. EUUN president, Achilo Thong said the union would not remain a silent spectator if injustice was done in public employment. While extending support to Nagaland University Teachers Association (NUTA), the union opined that NUTA was fighting for “a right cause” and “deserved justice”. EUUN also urged all departments to advertise the list of vacant posts and call for examinations in accordance with government directives and the government to rigidly implement service recruitment rules and norms and punish the violators.
