PSC extends support to ENSF
DIMAPUR: Following the spot verification along NH-155 February 19 and having observed the “poor workmanship”, the Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) today said it strongly supported ENSF’s stand and would continue to support the federation in its effort to safeguard the interest of the people of eastern Nagaland.
In a statement, the PSC president Manlang Phom and vice president M.Chaupong Leinak expressed surprised on how “some individuals” and organisations supported the “defaulting contractor” Pele Khezhie, also NCSU president, without witnessing the “so-called completed work.”
Terming the completed works as “far below specification in all aspects,” the PSC said the responsible has failed to justify their stand before the people.
The Phom students also observed that “any responsible organisations should base their stand on reason” and not under the influence of some “vested interest or fear of some powerful people.”
Further, they felt that it would be wise on the part of any established organisation to admit one’s own shortcomings rather than accusing the apex students’ body like ENSF, which stood for common cause involving one third population of the state.
