GUPB: Gorkha Union Purana Bazar (GUPB) has appreciated Dimapur Gorkha Mother Association (DGMA) for celebrating first foundation day on February 21 at St. Paul’s School, Purana Bazar. In an appreciation note issued by GUPB has also lauded DGMA for the work rendered by them towards the betterment and uplift the women folk of Gorkha community and the society as a whole. The union further extending their cooperation and support to DGMA has specially expressed gratitude to president, Reachal Tamang and her team members for their achievements within the period of one year and also wished them success in their future endeavors. WWAKD: Women Welfare Association Kiphire District (WWAKD) has expressed gratitude to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, for deputing a team led by Dr. Takunungsang, joint director NPCB and Dr. Imnapokyim, eye surgeon to conduct free eye treatment camp at Kiphire district which was held from February 11 to 15. An appreciation note issued by the association has also urged the department to offer such opportunity in the field of health care in the remotest part of the state like Kiphire district in near future too. Further it has expressed gratitude to all the staff of the District Hospital Kiphire and District Health Society Kiphire for sponsoring and organizing the camp for the benefit of the people. TUTT: Thsotokur Union Tuensang Town (TUTT) has appreciated chief minister Neiphiu Rio, for his farsightedness and immeasurable wisdom for appointing Rhakila Lakiumong as chairperson of Nagaland State Social Welfare Board. The union stated that to see a woman soaring from Thsotokur areas remained a distant dream but has become a reality today. WDKWSA: Wokha District Kyong Women Sports Association (WDKSA) has expressed gratitude to various government officers such as deputy commissioner Wokha, SP Wokha and other organization leaders and elders and also to RT Tsanglao, deputy Kilonser (Home Affairs) for being as chief guest during the opening soccer match. Further, has expressed gratitude to S.Y. Lotha, major GPRN; Joseph Patton, CAO; senior noble clan, Bonthungo Ngullie; Khyolamo Humtsoe, compeer and all the referees who had extended physical and financial help towards the 1st WDKWSA Open Soccer Championship held from February 5 to 7. Meanwhile, the association has wished them all success in their future endeavors. BTBC: Baghty Town Baptist Church (BTBC) has expressed gratitude to OBCMS Wokha unit, Dr. Bithungo Kikon, MO Baghty; Dr. Atheo Murry and Dr. Vincent Merry for their medical assistance towards the people of Baghty by treating around two hundred patients and also to CMO Wokha for contributing medicines to the people of the area. Further, has wished them all success in their future activities. 14 MFVH: Six villages including Ao Khel, Ao Kashiram, Aoyimsen, Nepali Kashiram, Rilan and Industrial Estate villages have lauded 14 MFVH, Rangapahar for organizing animal health care and vaccination camp at Disease Investigation Unit, Dimapur, one of the first of its kind in Dimapur and for having befitted through this camp. DYC Tuensang: The District Youth Congress Tuensang has lauded the s postal department for responding in a positive attitudeof resuming a Mobile Van for Tuensang Post Office as demanded earlier by the DYC Tuensang. The DYC further requested all departments to take an instance of the postal department and work out for the common benefit of the society. It also stated the postal department as ‘philanthropic’ department and further lauded them for initiating in bringing a better service to the public.
