DC cautions against unauthorized fees DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Maongwati Aier has cautioned against collection of unauthorized fees charged for mutation or partition of land or for issue of Jamabandis. If any fees were charged, individuals or pattadars have been directed to submit written report to DC Dimapur for initiating disciplinary proceedings against errant individuals. WSBAK TLW consultation DIMAPUR : Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) has informed all youth from different churches participating in the one-day consultation of True Love Waits both pledge and card holders to attend Centre Church Akuvuto, Thahekhu on February 26. The resource person for the occasion would be Rev Iringtie Kauring, youth secretary NBCC. All youth directors and TLW members have been requested to attend the consultation. East Dimapur AHTC DIMAPUR: Meeting of East Dimapur Ad Hoc Town Council (AHTC) has been convened on February 27, 1 pm at hotel Alvyn conference hall. Member –cum- parking in -charge Kakuho has informed all light, heavy, goods carrier, trucks and autotrikshaw owners and drivers unions to attend the meeting for smooth flow of traffic at Padum Pukhuri, Purana Bazar, Daily market complex and Zion Junction. DDPSTA new members DIMAPUR: PSTE Association Dimapur unit was formed in a meeting held on February 20 called by ANPSTA president, Nandwa. According to a press note, the nominated office bearers and secretaries of DDPSTA included Anthony Thong as president, Diwang Singha as vice president, Kekhriesilie Nagi as general secretary, K. Koza as assistant secretary, Aren Walling as information and publicity and Puchozoe Thakro as treasurer. The executive members include, Ghotoshe Sumi, Tali Aier, Mentila Changkire, Reguigonbe Putlang and Kekhrievi Denu. Zila Sainik Welfare officer informs DIMAPUR: All defence ex-servicemen, pensioners and widow family pensioners of Dimapur and Peren districts to report to the Zila Sainik Welfare office (Sainik Bhawan) Dimapur on working days from 10 am onwards for collection of Annexure –IV for Revision of pension .All have been requested to come with their Bank account book, discharge book and Payment order. Kobulong to get Utility Complex DIMAPUR: Utility Complex at Kobulong under Mokokchung district will be inaugurated on February 27 ,10 a.m by MLA Nungsangyapang. The inaugural programme will be chaired by President Asetkong Range, B. Tarep Aier while chairmanVCM Sungratsu and Kobolung Ahdoc Town Committee will deliver exhortation respectively. YC meeting rescheduled DIMAPUR: General meeting of Yanthan Clan (YC) which was convened on March 9 has been rescheduled to March 6 at Baghty (Soku). Yikhum Ekhung Dimapur DIMAPUR: Yikhum Ekhung Dimapur (YED) has convened its annual general body meeting cum picnic on February 27 at the residence of K. Arhomo Kikon, Supply Colony Dimapur from 10am onwards. YED secretary has informed that there would be deliberation on important issues followed by election of new office bearers. BJP to record list of office bearers DIMAPUR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit has informed all district presidents including frontal organization chiefs and Cells/Morchas for office record to submit list of their respective office bearers along with Mandal and Local Committees within 45 days. All Sumi Students’ Union meet DIMAPUR: The second union assembly of All Sumi Students union (ASSU) has been convened on February 27, 10 a.m at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. Best of the Best Nagaland Rock contest DIMAPUR: Mind Blowers Club would be organising its 6th Best of the Best Nagaland Rock contest, screening of which will be held on March 27 at Town Hall, Dimapur. The club informed that last date for submission of forms will be March 10. According to the oganisers, selected bands of the grand finale will be judged according to 50% public voting and 50% judge points. KSU support ENSF DIMAPUR: Khiamniungan Students Union (KSU) has extended support to ENSF for taking up the issue of poor road construction and other developmental activities. The KSU pointed out that there was more pending road construction since 2004 were left undone in its jurisdiction. The KSU has requested all contractors to follow guide lines of the government and complete its work within allotted time to avoid mistrust in feature. KSU also requested all Naga citizens to think judiciously and scrupulously before issuing statement individually or socially. Coordination meeting held at PBCC DIMAPUR: A coordination meeting of all Church deacons, women, mission, youth, Sunday school and evangelistic committee was held on Tuesday at Police Baptist Church Chumukedima (PBCC). TABCC training programme DIMAPUR: The Tizü Area Baptist Church Council (TABCC) would be conducting a training programme on February 28 at Khutsokhuno Village Baptist Church.
