The NGO’s Tuensang Unit have appealed to director and under secretary to the government of Nagaland, veterinary and animal husbandry Kohima, for reselection of 5 sows unit under veterinary department Tuensang as tribes wise. NGO’s Tuensang Unit in a press release stated that recent selection of the 5 sows unit under veterinary department Tuensang, was “injustice” as was no single person selected from the Khiamnuingan community since Tuensang district was dominated by four major tribes including, Chang, Yimchunger, Khiamnuingan and Sangtam. Strongly opposing to the selection of the units, the NGOs unit Tuensang has appealed the department for re-selection in order to avoid malpractices in any selection system and to maintain equilibrium for development for the welfare of the people.
