SAIACS alumni meet KOHIMA: An alumni meet of South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies will be held on February 4, 2 pm at LCS building, near Ao Church Kohima. All alumni of the institute from Kohima, Tseminyu, Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mon and Wokha districts have been informed to attend the meeting. Teachers’ interview in Kohima DIMAPUR: All selected candidates for teachers’ interview under Kohima district have been requested to submit original documents at the office of DC Kohima on February 4 at 9am for English, Science and Maths candidates and on February 5 at 8:30am for primary candidates. East Zone AIKF grading DIMAPUR: The East Zone AIKF grading would be held on February 21 at Kolkata. KAN general secretary, Posatho has informed interested members under KAN to submit their latest grading certificate to the technical director KAN, T. DRFCB meet DIMAPUR: Dhansiri River Flood Control Board (DRFCB) has convened a meeting on February 6 at 10am at its office, SBI building Purana Bazar, East Dimapur. Hokheto Kiba, chairman DRFCB has requested all office bearers, executive members and advisors to attend the meeting. NSWON10th annual assembly DIMAPUR: The NSCN/GPRN has informed all he members of NSWON, wives of both Army and Civil National workers to participate in the 10th annual assembly of NSWON to be held from February 22 to 25 at Council Headquarters, Hebron. Further, all concerned have been informed to bring their own beddings, mosquito nets and to submit handicrafts to be displayed and exhibited at the function. Roshny Sinruwng, Secretary, National Socialist Women Organization (NSWON) of Nagalim Kiphire DPDB meet deferred DIMAPUR: Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of February has been deferred till further notice is issued. District Planning Officer, Kiphire, S. Akho Theyo has requested all members to take note of the information. ID for KPC members DIMAPUR: All registered members of Kohima Press Club (KPC) have been informed to collect the format for Computerized ID Card issued by the Police Department from the president KPC, K.V. Nurumi and submit the completed form on or before February 28. KPC also informed to submit membership fee of Rs. 100 for renewal and Rs. 300 for newly registered members yet to submit the fee. Meanwhile, KPC has informed that a mass social work would be conducted on February 6, 7 am at KPC building. CMCF Zbto result declared DIMAPUR: Office of the District Planning Officer (DPO), Zunheboto has informed that the list of approved beneficiaries under Chief Minister’s Corpus Fund (CMCF) 2009-10 for Zunheboto district has been declared. In a press note issued by Kughato Chishi, deputy commissioner and vice chairman DPDB Zunheboto has informed that detailed list of names has been listed in the office of District Planning Machinery Cell, Zunheboto. RSUPCC 25th anniversary DIMAPUR: Rengma Students’ Union Patkai Christian College (RSUPCC) would be celebrating 25th anniversary on February 13 at 10am at Bundrock Chapel auditorium. Further, the union has requested all former students and well wishers to attend the celebration. KASU (M) clarifies DIMAPUR: Apropos the news item ‘KASUD grateful’ on February 1, Kuilong Area Students’ Union Manipur (KASU-M) has clarified that there was no Kuilong Area Students’ Union Dimapur or sub-ordinate unit of KASU from Dimapur. The union has expressed regret for the error committed from the office of KASU (M). Zunheboto DPDB meeting deferred DIMAPUR: Monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Zunheboto district scheduled to be held on February 8 has been deferred due to “unavoidable circumstances”. Zunheboto DPO & DPDB member secretary, David Sumi has informed that the date for next meeting would be intimated later and further regretted the inconvenience caused. Second phase IPPI in Wokha DIMAPUR: Chief Medical Officer Wokha has informed that the second phase of Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) would be given on February 7. Parents and elders of Wokha have been requested to co-operate in letting health workers and volunteers to administer polio drops to children between 0-5 years at the usual Polio Booths. LTUD prayer fasting programme DIMAPUR: Lokobomi Tughalo Union Dimapur (LTUD) has convened a prayer fasting programme for its silver jubilee celebration on February 6, 6am to 12pm at the residence of S. Nihovi Chishi, Nagarjan. LKD annual prayer meet DIMAPUR: Lumami Kuqhakulu Dimapur (LKD) has convened annual prayer meeting on February 6, 10am at the residence of Kanili Kinilimi, Sematilla. Hekaho T Kinny, vice chairman LUD has requested all the members to attend the meeting. Re-verification of weight and measure DIMAPUR: The general re-verification and stamping of weighing and measuring instruments would commence from February 9. Informing this in a press note issued by C. Yabang Pongener, Assistant Controller Legal Metrology and Consumer Protection (ACLMCP), Mon has requested all the users of weights and measuring instruments of Mon town to present their weights and measuring instruments for re-verification and stamping at the office of ACLMCP, Mon. Nagaland Bar Association DIMAPUR: Nagaland Bar Association (NBA) has convened an emergency general body meeting on February 5,1pm at DBA building, Dimapur to deliberate on various issues pertaining to the interest of the Bar.
