DACYP (NYK) Phek meet DIMAPUR: As directed by the Deputy Commissioner, Phek there will be a meeting of the District Advisory Committee on Youth Programme (DACYP) in respect of NYK Phek in the office of the DC Phek with DC in the chair on February 10 after District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting. According to an official bulletin, the meeting would discuss agendas including regular programmes of NYK for 2009-10, coordination programmes with other government departments/ agencies, selection of youth club for incentive and awards to youth clubs and miscellaneous with the permission of the chair. All members of DACYP have been requested to attend the meeting. Wokha town council informs DIMAPUR: Wokha Town Council in an official notification informed all concerned that due to dissolution of Wokha Town Council the District Administration would initiate the work of Wokha Town Council. It further informed that trade permits, transit pass not issued from the office of the administrator, Wokha Town Council would be treated as cancelled. All responsible have been directed to renew, obtain trade permit, transit pass with immediate effect. CSDD meet DIMAPUR: Consumer Society Dimapur District (CSDD) has convened a meeting on February 10 at 11am. All office bearers, members and advisor board members have been requested to attend the meeting. CSDD has also informed to the administration, police and business establishment to check identity card of persons collecting money in the name of CSDD without the concern of the president. It further stated that if any one was found guilty would be booked without any information and to contact on 9436073209 for any information. STH meet DIMAPUR: Sumi Totimi Hoho (STH) has convened a meeting on February 10, 10am at DC’s conference hall, Zunheboto. STH has requested the executive members and office bearers to attend the meeting. OSTC emergency meet DIMAPUR: An emergency general meeting of Ongpangkong Senso Telongjem Chumukedima (OSTC) has been convened on February 13, 10am at the residence of treasurer, Dr. K. Tali Imchen, retired director Medical, near SBI building 7th Mile. All the members from class X and above along with their official village representatives have been requested to attend the meeting and also to come in their traditional attire. PBU informs DIMAPUR: Pork Butcher Union (PBU) has informed all pork butchers to renew their identity card from February 15. The union also convened an emergency meeting on February 15 and requested all the office bearers to attend the meeting. NST informs DIMAPUR: Nagaland State Transport (NST) has informed that the scheduled Helicopter services being published earlier would be subject to changes or cancellation on the event of bad weather and movement of VVIPs by Helicopter. Informing this in a press note issued by Pekrusetuo Angami, general manager NST has further informed that such disruption of scheduled services would be notified in advance as far as possible. Collection of CDs and mementoes DIMAPUR: The organizing committee of Class of 1992, Holy Cross School Dimapur has requested all the batch mates to collect the CDs and mementoes of the reunion held on December 29 by contacting on 9856052520, 9856281260 and 9856251526. HNCRC youth revival crusade DIMAPUR: The Hindi Nagamese Christian Revival Church (HNCRC) in association with Heal the World Ministries would be organizing youth revival crusade from March 12 to 14 at IMC hall at 10am on Saturday, 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday and at 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. HNCRC has stated that Rev Shekhar Kallianpur, international motivator and philosopher from New Life Ministry, Mumbai would be the speaker; Bro. Phanemo Kath, scholar and lecturer ETC Jorhat as resource person; worship would be led by Bro. Ado, mission secretary CCRCC and special presentation by Bro. Sunep Lemtor, director Adonai ministry. Further, informed that bus service would be provided. ANSTA Niuland sub-unit informs DIMAPUR: All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA), Niuland sub-unit has convened the first general meeting on February 12, 10.30 am at Town Hall, Niuland. ANSTA Niuland sub-unit has requested all the teachers under the establishment of DIS Niuland and GHSS Niuland to attend the meeting. Further, the unit has expressed gratitude to ANSTA Dimapur unit under the president-ship of Vashum for forming the ANSTA Niuland sub-unit separately. The unit also resolved to work united with Dimapur unit for the welfare of teachers in particular and for the Department of School Education in general. Peli No-8 Golden jubilee KOHIMA: Kekhawakhre Peli No-8 of Pfuchatsumia Khel, Kohima village would be celebrating its golden jubilee from February 12 to 14 at Nariikizou P. Khel, Kohima village. The jubilee would be celebrated coinciding with Angami Sekhrenyi traditional “Kiahe Riitso” on February 12 and 13 and the jubilee feast on February 14. CUK meeting KOHIMA: The 37th general meeting of Chang Union Kohima (CUK) would be held on February 13, 9 am at Red Cross building, Kohima. All bonafide members of CUK have been informed to attend the meeting failing which action would be taken as part of the resolution of the union. Wokha residents informed DIMAPUR: D Coy 164 Infantry Battalion TA (HNH) Naga would be carrying out day firing practice at 41st Assam Rifles Firing Range on February 9, 11, 16, 18, 23 and 25 from 8:30 am to 12 noon. In an official bulletin, residents of all villages in and around the firing range have been requested to keep away from the firing range, danger zone to avoid any loss or injuries to human life, livestock and materials. Angami HSLC toppers award DIMAPUR: The S. 99 Society 6th Mile Sovima village has informed that a cash amount of Rs. 10,000 would be awarded to the Angami HSLC toppers from among top 20. The society has requested the toppers to contact the society secretary and chairman after the results are declared. Asuto EAC lauded DIMAPUR: GBs and elders of Lizuto, Koiboto, Tazuhumi, Tuzuhumi and Kitahumi villages have expressed gratitude to EAC Asuto, K. David Sema for visiting Tizu River source at Tizuhumi and Khuixe mountain at Lizutomi from February 2 to 5. The GBs and elders of the villages extended appreciation to the officials for taking personal interest towards the upliftment of those villages.
