IRCS to conduct medical camp DIMAPUR: A free medical camp would be organised in collaboration with International Committee of Red Cross Society (IRCS), Geneva at Mukti Bazar colony, Monglomukh and Kehoi village on February 10 and 11. Doctors and Red Cross members have been informed to participate in the medical camp. FTC to sponsor FMPB missionary DIMAPUR: Friends Missionary Prayer Band (FMPB) informed that Faith Theological College (FTC) would be sponsoring FMPB missionary in Nagaland. According to FMPB promotional secretary Yecto Chophy, the sponsorship came after Rev. Ronjay Narzary who was working in Gohpur, Assam was dedicated on February 7 at Faith Theological College (FTC) by Rev. Dr. S. Gangte, founder principal FTC. Angami public organization KOHIMA: Angami Public Organization (APO) has called for an emergency meeting on February 11, 11 a.m at APO office for Sekrenyi -cum -road show. All committee members constituted by APO, all Angami Frontal organisation President, office bearers and all executive members of PAO have been requested to attend the meeting. Tesophenyu group union KOHIMA: Tesophenyu Group Union(TGU) has requested all officers and all the members of the union to attend meeting on February 13, 9 a.m at Tesophenyu Fellowships Kruoliezuo colony L. Khel Kohima. ANDBGPF prayer and fasting service KOHIMA: All Nagaland Driver’s and Body Guards Prayer Fellowship will be organizing monthly prayer and fasting service on February 13, 7 am at Yimhcungrii Baptist Church opp IOC Kohima. All members have been requested to attend the meeting. Lithsami Union Dimapur DIMAPUR: In view of the upcoming silver jubilee celebration, Lithsami Union Dimapur (LUD) has convened a meeting February 13, 9 a.m. at the residence of Khekuto K Aye, Purana Bazar. The union chairman Shitokhu Aye, in a note, has invited all LUD members, particularly fathers, to attend the meeting. Mon DLSC meeting deferred DIMAPUR: Meeting of Mon District Level Steering Committee (DLSC) has been postponed to February 22, 11 a.m in the conference hall of the DC, Mon. Deputy Commissioner, Mon Dinesh Kumar, IAS has informed all conveners of the various sub-committees to submit work proposals with financial implications and action plan latest by February 15 Revenue officer clarifies on show cause notice DIMAPUR: Revenue Officer, Kohima, Kovi Meyase has informed that show cause notice issued earlier with letter No.Rev/LS/K/2/95-96, dated January 4 for land encroachment in Kohima Science College area should be read as February 4. All other terms and conditions would remain the same. DMC councilors meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of Dimapur Councilors has been convened on February 12, 11 a.m at DMC conference hall. According to DMC chairperson K. Khekaho Assumi the meeting would deliberate on collection of residential sanitary tax, promotion, up gradation of post of senior staff, regularization of service, and grant of DA/ADA and payment of CPF service gratuity and SSSLI to DMC employees. All councilors have been informed to attend the meeting. Kyong Students’ Union DIMAPUR: Kyong Students’ Union (KSU) assembly secretariat has convened a meeting with KSU tribunals on February 12 at its union office at 2pm. All members of KSU tribunals have been requested to attend the meeting. Free text books for Wokha GMS, GPS DIMAPUR: Free text books for class 6-8 students in Wokha would be distributed from February 11 onwards at District Education Officer (DEO) office Wokha. DEO Wokha has informed headmasters and head teachers of government high schools and middle schools to collect the text books as per enrolment. Western Sumi Baptist Pastors Fellowship DIMAPUR: Western Sumi Baptist Pastors Fellowship (WSBPF) has convened a meeting on February 25, 9am at the residence of its banker. All office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting. PWDFWA Tuensang annual session DIMAPUR: Tuensang district PWD (R&B) Field Workers’ Association (PWDFWA) will hold its annual session on February 19, 9.30am at the residence of association president, B. K. Alum Chang. All sub-division members under PWDFWA Tuensang zone have been requested to send four representatives from each unit along with unit presidents to attend the session. Association president has further informed those who have not submitted membership fee from 2003-09 to pay during the session. Regular Sectional Assistants Phek DIMAPUR: Phek district division of Regular Sectional Assistants (RSA) has convened a meeting on February 18 at PWD Guest House at 10am with state RSA association president Hekuto Aye, vice president Inakhu Aye and treasurer P. Kikon as speakers. All division office bearers and two representatives from each sub-division have been informed to attend the meeting. Further all members have been requested to submit their membership fee during the meeting. Aphuyemi Sumi Kuqhakulu Kohima DIMAPUR: Aphuyemi Sumi Kuqhakulu Kohima (ASKK) has convened a meeting on February 13, 10am at the residence of its treasurer, Er. Vikheto Shohe, Officers’ Hill Kohima. Meeting would deliberate plan of yearly activities for 2010-11. All ASKK office bearers, executives and advisors have been requested to attend the meeting.
