ICRC team arrives Dimapur

A six-member team of the Geneva based International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) led by its Deputy Head of Delegation Yahia Alibi arrived Dimapur on Tuesday evening. The team consisting of the Dy HoD, Doctor and medical in charge Frejacques Luc, water & sanitation in-charge Francois Boher, cooperation development officer Jigantha Baruah and communication officers Meenu Raghunathan and Surinder Singh Oberoi will be conducting a workshop with local journalist and also organize health camps. Dy HoD Yahia Alibi said the team was in Dimapur to fulfill the aims and mandates of the ICRC by reaching out to the lower sections of the society in need of medical aid. Meanwhile, a medical camp has been organized on Wednesday from 9 am at Kubza bazaar colony, Monglumukh (Dhansiripar) and at Kehoi village (Nihokhu) on Thursday morning.
