DIS Tseminyu informs KOHIMA: Deputy Inspector of School (DIS) Tseminyu has informed all government schools under the establishment of DIS Tseminyu that the text books for primary to elementary level (Class-8) would be distributed from February 15. All the head of institution have been asked to collect the books by bringing the class wise enrollment /anticipated enrolment. KMC notifies KOHIMA: Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed that in continuation to an earlier standing order and in compliance with the directives of higher authority, the display of any types of advertisement on the WW-II cemetery retaining wall at TCP Gate Kohima was strictly prohibited. The council also notified that pasting of posters was banned within Kohima Municipalities and said stern action would be taken against defaulters. NSGEWA meet KOHIMA: Nagaland Senior Governor Employees Welfare Association (NSGEWA) has informed to all executive members of NSGEWA that there will be meeting on February 12, 11 am in the association office (Khonoma building) near Assam, Rifles, Kohima. The meeting shall discuss issue relating to the ongoing Supreme Court case on the Retirement Act 2009. In a release, NSGEWA press secretary Medoselhou requested all executive members of the association including representatives from all districts and sub-division to attend the meeting.
