The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Longleng Branch revamping programme was held on Wednesday at DC’s Conference Hall, Longleng.
The deputy commissioner Longleng and chairman IRCS, C.K. Nihekhu speaking at the function said IRCS was playing an important role in the country, stated an official bulletin.
The DC also requested the gathering to enroll their names for life membership with payment of a fee of Rs. 500.
The newly elected office bearers of Indian Red Cross Society Longleng Branch include DC Longleng as chairman, Y.B. Angam as secretary and H. Leisha Phom as treasurer. Welcome address and vote of thanks was delivered by Leisha Phom and M. Shayung, SDO (Civil) Longleng respectively.
