Nagaland Adhoc GT Union meet DIMAPUR: All Nagaland Adhoc GT Union (ANAGTU) has convened a meeting on February 20 at 10 am at Government Town Primary School, Dimapur. The union has requested all adhoc GT who had already submitted original documents to Directorate of School Education for service regularization to attend the meeting. AHoD, HoD meeting DIMAPUR: A meeting of all Administrative Heads of Department (AHOD) and Heads of Department (HOD) has been convened on February 15 at 2pm at Nagaland Secretariat conference hall. Lalthara, chief secretary to the Government of Nagaland has requested all AHODs and HODs to attend the meeting. Lun Ngai Ni festival DIMAPUR: Zeliangrong Boudi Dimapur has requested all office bearers and Zeliangrong public in Dimapur to attend the Southern Naga festival –ie Lun Ngai Ni at Tenyimia Complex , Dimapur on February 15 at 10 am. Baudi has requested all presidents of Zeme , Liangmai and Rongmai and public to attend in traditional dress. Nagaland Airport Contractors Union meet DIMAPUR: All Nagaland Airport Contractors Union (ANACU) has convened a meeting on February 13 at Hotel Saramati at 11am. All contractors have been requested to attend the meeting. Inauguration of suspension bridge in Milak DIMAPUR: Minister for Planning & Coordination, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, Evaluation and Parliamentary Affairs, T.R. Zeliang will inaugurate the restored suspension bridge of Rev. Dr. E.W. Clark at suspension bridge site, Milak, Molungyimsen on February 13, 10 a.m. MLA L. Temjen Jamir, M. Longri Pongen (Retd. ACF), President AKM, S. Bendang Aier and President of Molungyimsen Senso Union, Er. Pangjung Longkumer will deliver short speeches. President of AKM Naga Educational Heritage Society, Dr. Jamedi Longkumer will highlight on Dr. Clark and Nagas. Mokokchung administrative officers meet DIMAPUR: Mokokchung district administration has convened a meeting at DC’s conference hall on February 12, 11:30 a.m to discuss matters relating to setting up of Seismic telemetry network at Mokokchung with director, Earthquake Risk Management Centre, New Delhi. SDO (C) Mokokchung, Nungsangmenla Imchen has directed officers DIO, NIC, SP wireless, SP DEF, Engineer Housing, Executive Engineer Power, SDO (C) Sadar, MMC (Representative), DPRO Mokokchung, Assistant Controller and EAC (Development) to attend the meeting. Arms license verification in Mokokchung DIMAPUR: All arms license holders under Mokokchung district have been directed to report to the DC’s Office, Mokokchung for physical verification on the mentioned days. Mangkolemba Block from February 22 to 26, Tuli Block from March 2 to 5, Ongpangkong/Kubolong/Chuchu from March 8 to 12 and for license holders issued from Mokokchung from March 15 to 19. Kohima District Congress Committee KOHIMA: The Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) has convened a meeting of DCC Office bearers, ACCC Presidents and frontal chief on February 17, 11 am at DCC Office. KDCC informed that meeting would deliberate on important issues for which all members have been requested to attend the meeting. ‘Historic Treaty’ committee meeting KOHIMA: The meeting of organizing committee and sub-committees, prior to the silver jubilee celebration of the ‘Historic Treaty’ between the people of Tseminyu and Tuophema, has been scheduled on February 14, 10 a.m in Botsa Baptist Church. All committee and sub committee members, including volunteers have been requested to attend the meeting to deliberate on the celebration. NSAMB meeting KOHIMA: The first meeting of Board Directors of Nagaland State Agricultural Marketing Board (NSAMB) for the year has been convened on February 16 at 11 am at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. RSU emergency union assembly DIMAPUR: Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) has convened an emergency union assembly on February 20 at 11am at RSU conference hall, Oking Tseminyu town. The union has requested all the constituent units, sub ordinates, seniors, well wishers and responsible members to attend the assembly. Meanwhile, the union assembly has requested desiring candidates and units to submit names of their candidates for the vacant post to the union assembly on February 15.
