CCDU to train women bodies on total sanitation

Communication and Capacity Development Unit (CCDU), PHED would sponsor one-day training for resources persons for women bodies on total sanitation campaign on February 23, 9.30 at Red Cross Conference Hall, P.R. Hill, Kohima. The training is being arranged for following women bodies- Watsu Mungdang ( Mokokchung District), Rengma Mothers Association, Kohima , Zeliangrong Mupui Association, Peren District, Chakhesang Women Welfare, Phek District, Pochury Mothers Association, part of Phek district, Sumi Totimi Hoho Zunheboto, Zunheboto district, Konyak Nyuyong Sheiko Khung, Mon district ) and Angami Women Organization, part of Kohima district. Each Organization has been requested to send four selected persons for the training. The inaugural session will start with Dr Ngangshi K. Ao , Minister PHED as chief guest, Er Kevisekho Kruse, Executive Director CCDU will highlight on objective of training program, Er J.Walter Longchar, SE, PHED ( M&I), Kohima as leader and Prayer by Rev. Dingu Kenye, Director, Development, CBCC Technical sessions will be held from 10.30 a.m – 11.30 a.m- session 1 -Total Sanitation Campaign – Vital Issues by Er A. Kent and from 11.30 a.m – 12.30 p.m.: Session – II : Seven Components of Sanitation by Er Bendangtola. The sharing of experience for 30 minutes each from 1.p.m. – 2 p.m.-CBCC Experience on Sanitation campaign works-by Rev. Dingu Kenye ,Director, Development , CBCC and Sanitation Campaign experience in Dimapur –by Er Mersen Ao , Project Er. Dimapur, followed by Open Discussion from 2-3pm -Interaction, closing to be moderated by Moderator – Er Kevisekho Kruse, ED CCDU Organisers informed that nominated persons should be intellectually competent to act as resource persons for total sanitation campaign in their respective areas / districts.
