Meteorology (IMD) and S&WC director Tashi Rengma, in a press release said that the drought-like situation which was declared for Nagaland in 2009 was based on the records maintained by the department and available at the website http://wisngl.nic.in/genwis/genmonth.asp.He said the report was “misleading and baseless”.
