Condolence messages

DRU: Dimapur Riphyim Union (DRU) has mourned the untimely demise of engineer Shanchothung Odyuo, senior agriculture engineer of agriculture department on deputation from irrigation & flood control department. A condolence message stated that late Er. Shanchothung Odyuo was a visionary and progressive technocrat who strived for uplifment of the farmer’s community in the village as well in the state. DRU has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the soul to rest in eternal peace. Meanwhile, in a separate release ORSU has mourned the demise of Shanchothung Odyuo, senior agriculture engineer, on March 5 at Oking Hospital Kohima. The union conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family. TPO: Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Khrisavisie Hieme, acting President of Naga Club who passed away on Saturday due to old age at his native village, Khonoma. Late Khrisavisie Hieme was a pioneer and active members of Naga Club under which platform, the Naga movement started by giving birth to Naga National Council (NNC) and subsequently, the National Socialist Council of Nagaland and Nagalim (NSCN). TPO in a condolence message said, late Khrisavisie was also among the two last surviving Naga Club members and was the acting president of the club until his last breath. While extending our heartfelt condolence to bereaved family members, TPO also prayed that God Almighty grant them solace and for the departed soul rest in eternal peace. KRE: Kohima Riphyim Ekhung(KRE) has expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Shanchothung Odyuo. Being one of the first engineers from the village, KRE stated that late Shanchothung was one of the most intelligent and finest officers who had inspired his people. The KRE has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
