Dr. Nicky exhorts Angami youth

General conference of Northern Angami Youth Organization (NAYO) on the theme “Youth Renaissance” was held on Saturday at Kohima college auditorium (New Campus) with Dr. Neikesalie Kire, MLA cum chairman KVIB as resource person. Expressing resentment of the usage of words “Educated unemployed”, Dr. Nicky said that “if you are educated, you should be ashamed to call yourself as educated unemployed”, adding if one was educated he or she was smart enough to earn his or her living. He also said government was ready to help the people with different schemes and projects, but pointed out that many people prepare their projects to avail the subsidy and margin money and even failed to utilize the funds meant for the projects and schemes. In his presidential address Kekhrievolie Keyho, President NAYO gave brief activities of NAYO tenure from 2005 to 2010. The new office bearers for 2010-2013 was announced and introduced to gathering with as President - Kekhriengulie Theiinuo , Vice President – Kevimezhalie Sote, general secretary -Keneingusa Riipreo, Joint secretary –Vimedo Pienyii, social and cultural secretary – Khrietuolie Mezhii, Property secretary- Kekrurovi-o Solo , Finance secretary -Roko Soliezuo , Treasurer- Neiphrielhoulie Keyho, statistical secretary -Krusa Chiese, press secretary -Kethosituo Mepfu-o , Women coordinators- Neikuonuo Kense and Thenuokhrie-ii Theiinuo and Adviser - Kekhrievolie Keyho. Earlier the function was chaired by Kekhriengulie Theiinuo, vice president NAYO , invocation prayer by Pastor Keviyie Khana, Christian Revival Church , Bayavii Kohima, special number was presented by Chedema BKK and exhortation was given by Neitso Sogotsu President NAPO, the treasurer report was presented by Chiiwhuotuo Kense treasurer , NAYO and the vote of thanks was given by Roko Soliezuo, Finance secretary, NAYO.
