Thai stall draws crowds in trade fair

People were seen thronging the Thailand stall, buying items at the ongoing international trade fair organized by the Nirvana Pilgrim Society, Guwahati. The State Government is the host of the event. The beautiful flower vases of varied shapes are made of Mango wood, with prices ranging from Rs. 800 to Rs. 2000. According to an official bulletin, general manager cum designer, Lal Simte informed that the vases were sold under the brand name Gungwan and is guaranteed by Thailand Export Diversity and refinement. He also informed that the vases were exported to 53 countries all over the world and the company participated in various international fairs the world over. The vases with acrylic paintings are more expensive than the ones with hand carvings, informed the manager. He also said that their company was the only company in the world which worked with acrylic paintings and was recognized as number one in terms of quality. Attractive brooches, jewellery sets, imitation pearls and stone studded jewelleries are also put up on sale.
